| JACKIE WALIGORA'S TIPS:
DAF (Drafting Applique Film) |
Description:
8 ½" X 11" adhesive backed transparent film, similar to vellum. Goes through a copier or laser printer so you can transfer images onto the DAF film, then cut them out and use over glitter or other specialty papers.
Stock# DS1
Cost $.99 ea. sheet
Sample Project Directions:
1. Fill an 8 ½" X 11" sheet of cardstock with images stamped very closely together.
2. Place cardstock in copier; place DAF sheet in paper tray following instructions printed on the sheet as to which side should receive the ink. OR Scan image and print onto the DAF sheet using a laser printer.
3. Allow ink to dry. This is the hardest part of the project since it takes quite a long time to dry. A good way to do this is to print the image and allow to dry overnight before completing the project.
4. Cut images from DAF sheet.
5. Peel off and discard protective backing.
6. Stick DAF sheet to glitter or other specialty paper.
